3.5 mm Hook

(this is a Size that will fit a 4-5 year old child) 

if you what to make your Bow Headband wider you will need to chain more. 

The multiple is 2+1

ch 15 

Row 1: sc in second chain from hook, *dc in next stitch, sc in next stitch* repeat across, turn. 

(you will be ending with a dc)

Row 2: ch1 sc in same stitch, repeat * to * across until you reach your desired length.

slip stitch together. Fasten off & weave ends. 

Finishing the Headband:

Turn the Headband so the slip stitches are facing inside. 

Now you are going to tie the yarn around the slip stitches creating the Bow.
